the point refers to the somewhat legendary club in atlanta where i used to go dancing a LOT. i was offered two dance contracts when recruiters happened to see me cutting loose on disco hell nights - had to turn both down because of my knees. the point of the point reference is that when i tried to become someone else to suit whomever i was dating at the time, i always lost me. i was too freaking awesome to be lost like that and i always remembered that when i danced or even thought about dancing as i looked at the ground level (from the outside) windows that were high up on the interior walls of the point's dance floor/concert area.

recorded live in an auditorium in front of about 7 people, 4 of whom were there to crew and made a wonderful audience, and were joined by 3 more from the station, including the lovely lena.
